Sarkam Bandhni technique involves the creation of fine lines and other patterns with pinched resist dyed knots. Thousands of dots and meticulously hand tied in beautiful figurative patterns and the saree is then dip-dyed in vibrant colors to reveal beautiful patterns. The Sarkam technique is a more time and skill-intensive technique. 

While the bandhni work speaks volumes about the vibrance of Gujarat, the pure silk georgette base Banarasi fabric has its unmistakable flow and texture! And the Meenakari Borders take it up a notch!
