Rear Strut Tower Shock Mount for BMW E36 E46 E30 Z4

The metal plates on top of the E30, E36, E46 rear shock towers have a well-known weakness: the metal is prone to tearing over time, especially when subjected to strong impacts. It is the best insurance for the shock mount to install the Bevinsee shock mount reinforcement to avoid repairing expensive shock mounts in the future!

Fitment Note:
We found that the factory E30 M3 had too much seam sealant near and around the top of the rear shock mounting area, causing the reinforcement plate to not lie completely flat.
Please modify the plates to accommodate the manufacturing tolerances of these specific models.

The 10mm/12mm sizing refers to the inner diameter of the shock mount sleeve. The size of your shock dictates which size you need (OEM is 10mm; aftermarket shocks vary and must be measured). If you aren¡¯t sure which size you need, measure the OD of the top threaded portion of the shock, or check with the manufacturer.
