Creative Chafa

This work suspends an imagined botanical body between ornament and organism, its curling pods and veined leaves unfolding like a quiet choreography of growth. The saturated reds and greens—punctuated by ochre, coin-like spots—create a pulsing rhythm, while the carved contour lines lend the surface a tactile, almost topographic sensibility. Negative spaces cut through the form as breath and rupture, suggesting that vitality is inseparable from absence, decay, and renewal. In its wall-bound relief, the piece reads as a contemporary talisman: a hymn to fecundity tempered by the fragile architecture that holds it together.
