A monumental, totemic figure rises from a field of ochres and sun-warmed gold, its body constructed like an archaeological palimpsest—layers of translucent texture, fractured planes, and quiet abrasions that suggest memory more than anatomy. Within this sheltering presence, birds flare and settle as emblems of breath and return, their pale wings cutting through the dense earth-tones with a tender insistence on renewal. The thin red geometric tracings read like measured routes or invisible constraints, turning the composition into a map of inner passage where instinct, surveillance, and longing negotiate the same confined space. What emerges is a hushed myth of protection and captivity at once, a meditation on how the self is built from fragments—half-remembered, carefully held, and always in flight.
