This work stages maternity as both sanctuary and ceremony: the mother’s elongated, calm silhouette becomes an anchoring axis against a mosaic of meticulously patterned textiles and architectural motifs, suggesting a world stitched together by memory and daily ritual. Warm ochres and terracotta tones radiate like sunbaked walls, while the sari’s rhythmic ornamentation turns protection into visual music, echoing the child’s small, luminous presence. The flattened perspective and ornamental density dissolve depth into intimacy, implying that home is not merely a place but a woven inheritance—carried on the body, held in the arms, and repeated across generations.
