Background History:
Maharajadhiraj Raj Rajeshwar Sawai Shri Sir Yeshwant Rao II Holkar XIV Bahadur (1908–1961) was the Maharaja of Indore (also know as Holkar State and now as Madhya Pradesh), belonging to the Holkar dynasty of the Marathas. He was educated at the Cheam School, Charterhouse and Christ Church, Oxford. He succeeded his father Tukojirao Holkar III, who abdicated in his favour on 26 February 1926. He was installed on the throne on 11 March 1926 under a regency council and was invested with full powers on 9 May 1930. Indore was a 19-gun salute Maratha princely state (a rare high rank) during the British rule in India.

Condition:
Very good condition with only light toning. Some pages coming away from spine. Red cloth covered boards with elaborate gilt titling and crest. Boards bumped on corners, and cloth coming away at top and bottom of spine. Also some wear marks and staining to both boards.
