Gayatri Mantra 10

The Gayatri Mantra, depicted in this artwork, is a highly revered and popular mantra from the Rig Veda. The mantra inscribed reads:
ॐ भूर भुवः स्वः
तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं
भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि
धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात्

It translates to:
Om Bhur Bhuva Svaha
Tatsatviturvarenyam
Bhargo Devasya Dheemahi
Dhiyo Yo Na Prachodayat

The meaning of the lines is:
We meditate on that most adored Supreme Lord, the creator, whose effulgence (divine light) illumines all realms (physical, mental and spiritual). May this divine light illuminate our intellect, and bestow upon us true knowledge.
