A hand-woven wool dhurrie with multicolor kilim pattern β the geometry laid in horizontal bands across a flatweave ground in blues, reds, yellows, greens. Dhurries are woven flat without pile, lighter than knotted carpets, easier to move and clean. The kilim technique layers geometric motifs in contained bands, the multicolor palette reading graphic and saturated. Woven in Bhadohi or Mirzapur by dhurrie artisans working in the Uttar Pradesh flatweave tradition. The multicolor work holds together through repetition and scale. Suited to spaces where pattern anchors the floor. 100% wool, flatweave.
