This work stages a quiet archaeology of memory through a grid of earthen tiles, where rusts, ochres, and soot-like washes feel both weathered and tender, as if time has been pressed into the surface. Small geometric emblems—triangles, circles, inset frames—operate like sealed icons or coded coordinates, introducing a measured order that gently resists the painting’s organic stains and bruised textures. The tension between the disciplined mosaic and the drifting patina suggests an inner architecture: a mind arranging experiences into compartments while emotion seeps across their borders, leaving traces that cannot be fully contained.
