This work stages an interior of arches and pillars as a remembered architectureβless a measured record than a sensation of space returning in fragments. Warm umbers and siennas carry the weight of stone, while deep cobalt accents and bleeding washes fracture the solidity into shadows that feel emotional as much as structural. Light enters like a withheld promise through pale openings, creating a quiet dialogue between sanctuary and ruin, presence and erasure. The loosened edges and drips suggest time itself at work, turning monument into reverie and inviting the viewer to inhabit what has nearly slipped away.
