This work stages a fractured profile as an architectural psycheβplanes of rust, charcoal, and bone-white interlock like stained glass, turning the face into a constructed site rather than a fixed identity. Light seems to leak through the fissures, illuminating pockets of amber warmth amid heavier, opaque shadows, as if memory and desire are trapped behind a hard civic faΓ§ade. The small gestural figures hovering at the margins read like internal witnesses, suggesting that the self is negotiated by many voices, some reaching outward while others retreat into the geometry. In its quiet tension between mask and revelation, the painting proposes personhood as a mosaic of lived fragments, simultaneously resilient and vulnerable.
