Question: What’s the difference between the LS D580 and D581, I purchased one of them don’t know which one but I do have truck coils but going in a car on my 6.0 engine, kind of confused, they looked the same.

Answer: D581 and D580 coils look similar, but the actual size is somewhat different. The D581 coil bracket can be used for most truck generators, and the D580 coil bracket is suitable for some luxury LS1 starting from 97.
