This work stages a slow descent of light into matter, where molten yellows seep upward from the lower edge like a gathered dawn, only to be arrested by a canopy of soot-darkened atmospheres above. The vertical striations read as both rainfall and static—time scored into the surface—creating a tension between cleansing motion and industrial residue. In the narrow pale fissures that punctuate the darkness, the piece offers brief, disciplined apertures of clarity, suggesting resilience not as triumph but as persistence within corrosion. What emerges is a meditative field of weathered radiance, an abstract landscape of memory where illumination survives by learning to diffuse.
