What is Blue Light?

Light consists of 7 colours. Every colour has different wavelengths and different impacts to our skin in general, some wavelengths are beneficial for skin and some can damage our skin. Blue light (Different from LED Blue light wavelength) which is typically emitted from computers, tablets and phone screens are linked to skin damage that affects our skin and causes premature ageing, just like UV rays. It also leads to skin dehydration and drying, and also results in skin discolouration (pigmentation) as well. Thus, protection of skin against this blue light becomes necessary.
