This work stages an elephant as both emblem and vulnerability, its body rendered in soft greys yet opened into a ribbed architecture that reads like memory exposed to air. Against a field of meticulous marks and muted sand tones, the patterned negative space becomes a quiet pressure—an environment that records time, heat, and repetition—while the surreal, ribboning trunk and pink accents introduce a pulse of tenderness amid restraint. The composition balances weight and delicacy: the creature stands grounded, yet the ornamental distortions suggest identity reshaped by circumstance, where endurance is inseparable from fragility.
