A hand-woven wool dhurrie in multicolor with ivory dominant ground, the kilim pattern laid in horizontal bands across a flatweave construction. Dhurries are woven flat without pile, lighter than knotted carpets, easier to move and clean. The kilim technique layers geometric motifs in bands, the ivory ground anchoring the multicolor work in blues, reds, yellows. Woven in Bhadohi or Mirzapur by dhurrie artisans working in the Uttar Pradesh flatweave tradition. The ivory reads neutral and quiet, the multicolor bands graphic against it. Suited to spaces where pattern stays contained. 100% wool, flatweave.
