Hmm, the design looks familiar, right? Well yes, its inspired by a Vogue cover. I was looking for inspiration and turned where any sensible person would- to the vogue magazines. It’s visuals amazed me- like always. But i also realised something. These beautiful models, with amazing shoots- unknowingly set a standard at the back of our minds, telling us why they are called “models”. We wish to be like them- thin, snatched, sharp jawline, high cheekbones- perfect. And in the process of wishing this, we lose ourselves, our confidence and our identity. This design says that all these “beauty standards” that we create for ourselves? They are all VAGUE, baseless! To prove this point, i made this design by merging 4-5 vogue covers with different models- everyone is perfect. So don’t go chasing baseless norms because the standards in vogue are vague!
