Bhogashakti (Parvati) - I

Bhogashakti is the form that Goddess Parvati takes before going into the inner sanctum of a temple with her husband, Lord Shiva. 'Bhoga' means pleasure and 'shakti' means energy, and so this form of Parvati embodies her sexual energy. This intricate sculpture with elaborate details is made using the lost wax technique.
