This work drifts between seascape and memory, where a weathered vessel emerges through veils of indigo and ash as if recalled rather than observed. Broad, aqueous washes dissolve the horizon into a bruised atmosphere, while scraped whites and dark, calligraphic lines carve a fragile structure—suggesting industry, travel, and the quiet exhaustion of time. The composition’s tension lies in its suspended clarity: the ship is both anchor and apparition, a metaphor for persistence amid shifting waters and uncertain ground.
