Fender Limited Edition HM Stratocaster 6-Strings Electric Guitar Overview:

The limited edition HM Strat boasts the same unique look and features that helped the '88-92 period models compete with hot-rod Strat imitations of the day. Built in the same factory as the original, the HM (Heavy Metal) Strat features a narrow "C" profile neck, with a unique 25.1 "scale, 17" radius maple or rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets for almost effortless bending and technical use of frets. A recessed Floyd Rose Special bridge keeps everything perfectly in tune even after the deepest dive-bombs, while the high-gain HSS pickup configuration produces powerful humbucker tones in the bridge, which can be split to achieve more traditional Strat sounds in combination with pickups single-coil on the neck and center.

Available in four original Day-Glo colors faithful to the style of the time: Frozen Yellow, Flash Pink, Ice Blue and Bright White.

BODY IN LIME
Basswood is a light wood with balanced tone that goes well with burning humbucker pickups. The Strat's custom body features a tighter radius, with a smooth neck heel and profile for access to the upper frets.

CUSTOMIZED HIGH PROFIT PICKUP
The custom HM humbucker pickup in the bridge offers punch and sustain perfect for hard rock and heavy metal, while the HM single-coil Strat neck and center pickups provide classic Fender tones.

THIN AC PROFILE HANDLE WITH 17 "KEYBOARD CURVAT RADIUS
The neck's slim C-profile has fast action, while the ultra-flat 17 "radius fingerboard allows for kink-free bending.

FLOYD ROSE BLOCK TREMOLO
It allows you to play light vibrato, deep bends and dive bombs while keeping the instrument perfectly tuned

TOGGLE COIL-SPLIT SELECTOR
Allows you to split the pickup for more traditional Fender sounds.
