Garbh Grih (Emergence)

This sculptural form reads like an archaeological relic reimagined—an upright vessel-body whose hollowed torso invites the gaze inward, turning emptiness into its primary substance. Earthy reds and chalky neutrals, mottled by a rough, tactile skin, evoke clay, bone, and weathered stone, while the tilted “head” and cavernous opening create a charged asymmetry that feels both protective and exposed. Nested within, a spiral eye-like aperture becomes a quiet locus of consciousness, suggesting the persistence of interior life even as the outer shell erodes.
