A central, tree-like spine rises like an axis of breath, unfurling into two luminous, lung-shaped forms whose delicate filigree suggests both botanical growth and the intimate circuitry of the body. The dominant field of ember-red and molten orange presses in like heat or urgency, while vertical drips read as time’s descent—smoke, rain, or memory—pulling the image toward dissolution even as it radiates. At the base, a cool blue ground interrupts the fevered palette, offering a pooled silence that steadies the composition and hints at water, sleep, or the subconscious. The work becomes a meditation on sustenance and vulnerability: a body-as-landscape where respiration, rootedness, and impermanence coexist in a single, burning altar.
