Some colours carry heat. Tapa is one of them.
Woven in vivid flame orange Jamdani cotton, this saree wears its warmth without restraint. Scattered across the body are small white butti motifs β stylised feather and leaf shapes woven directly into the fabric, one thread at a time. They catch the light against the deep orange and give the saree a quiet, intricate beauty that rewards a closer look.
A delicate cream border runs the full length. The pallu arrives with larger white Jamdani motifs and horizontal stripe detailing β the full weaving vocabulary in white on flame.
Jamdani is not a print. It is a weave β recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Each butti was formed on the loom itself. The patience behind this saree is in every thread.
The fabric is fine and very lightweight β it drapes loosely, moves freely, and feels almost weightless against the skin.
Wear it to a festive gathering, a Puja, a celebration β or anywhere that calls for warmth and confidence in equal measure.
