Story

I remember being only 5 years old when I first waded into a stream. It was the peak of summer and the cool, clear waters were quite unlike anything Id ever experienced before. But what caught me most by surprise was the sound the stream made “ a delicate gurgling, almost like a babys first laugh. Its been many years since, but the ninad of flowing water still makes my heart brighten up. It reminds me of the effortless harmony in nature, of which I am but a small part. It reminds me of the beautiful passage of time. It reminds me that this is only just the beginning, and that my life will lead me to so many unknown, exciting destinations.

Description

Handloom cotton is handwoven by our weavers on mechanical looms. The process is time and labour-intensive, using techniques that have been passed down across generations of artisans. The resultant fabric is extraordinarily soft, breathable and resilient, and also drapes very well. Using handloom cotton not only helps us to work with smaller weavers but also plays an important role in reducing the environmental footprint of the garments we produce.
