This work stages a vast red field as both atmosphere and pressureβan expanse that reads like heat, memory, and insistence layered into a single, vibrating plane. Subtle vertical striations and ghosted blocks flicker beneath the surface like half-erased architecture, while the hard, pale horizon at the top and the torn yellow band below function as borders where order frays into matter. In the tension between these thresholds, the painting suggests a landscape of emotion rather than geography: a contained intensity that periodically ruptures, revealing fleeting pockets of silence and depth.
