Breathable Linen-Like Summer Travel Pants

For reference, I am 5'5, about 148 lbs, usually a size 8 or M, and my measurements are roughly 36-30-40. I bought the Regular M in Antique Brown. The waist felt comfortable without gaping, the lining made the fabric feel secure, and the tapered crop looked neat with flat sandals.

I am 5'3 and ordered the Petite S in Milk Cream Beige. The cropped length hits where I hoped, not at an awkward full length. The fabric has that linen look but feels smoother and less fussy for travel days.

These are comfortable, but the weave does not feel like a stretchy knit. I am between M and L and chose L so I could sit comfortably on a flight. Glad I did, because the mid rise sits neatly without pulling.
