This work stages a dense, ember-like core against a field of ochres and sand, as though memory has been compacted into a single, turbulent deposit while its fragments orbit at the periphery. The composition’s scratched contours and stencil-like geometries read like an archeological script—half-erased signs that hold the tension between what can be named and what must remain sensed. Flecks of deep red, soot, and sudden blue animate the surface as quiet sparks, turning the canvas into a site where erosion and illumination coexist, and where the figure of experience emerges through its own weathering.
