She got ready for the big day. It always is when your child gets married, isn't it?! As she draped her saree to perfection and put up her hair in a bun, she reached out to her favourite rubies. She saw her reflection in the ruby and it took her to 25 years back when she first saw herself in it. She could now see her own mother peeing into it and exclaiming at its beauty.
