Shed been shocked to learn that her favourite jalebi wasnt invented in India by her favourite sweet shop as she believed, but had its origins in the Middle East. It amazed her how the sweet had travelled so far, winning hearts everywhere it went, until it finally arrived to her hometown, where it was savoured with gusto with rabri. Maybe there was a lessons to be learned from the higgledy-piggledy squiggles of fried dough. Maybe the lesson was that no matter how far you travelled, what mattered the most to people was how sweet your heart was.
