This work stages a tense allegory of flight and capture: birds hover in a smoke-grey atmosphere while a delicate lattice—half net, half barbed geometry—pulls the eye into a suspended moment of peril. The bull’s body, patched from saturated reds and blues and a head collaged with newspaper text, reads as both icon and headline—an animal made into information, its agency overwritten by the noise that covers it. By forcing the vibrant figure against the muted, breathless ground, the composition turns spectacle into indictment, suggesting how power, myth, and media conspire to entangle what is meant to run free.
