'Bridget' red sari features a graphic Mashru border in red and rani pink. The border draws from the work of artist Bridget Riley, mother of Optical Art - a style of visual art that creates movement through geometric patterns and optical illusions.
Composed of a silk warp and weft, the Mashru weave results in a smooth silk satin surface that is loved and recognized for its possibilities, sumptuous tactility, and otherworldly lustre.
This handwoven textile reflects natural variations within yarn, color, weave and/or embroidery.
The sari is paired here with the 'Ailin' blouse.
Blouse is not included.
