Mohini - III

Mohini is the only female avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu, known to be an enchantress, who makes lovers fall so deeply for her, that it often leads them to their own doom. Mohini is also known to have been part of the destruction of many demons throughout Hindu texts. She is depicted on a swing in one of Raja Ravi Varma's most famous artworks.
This oleograph carries the signature of the artist, Raja Ravi Varma. It is from the early 20th century, and is in very good condition.
