Chinese Kamcheng or Covered Jar

A beautiful Tongzhi Era Chinese blue and white porcelain Kamcheng. ‘Kamcheng’ means ‘covered jar’ and was most likely used for storing either rice or ginger. It is painted all over with floral and leaf decorations, and there is a foo dog finial on the lid.
