Story

All her life, shed been told that the world had no room for dreamers. It was only workers that forged ahead, fuelled by their ambition and ruthless drive. But the world she lived in was populated by figments of her imagination, which felt so real it was almost as though she could reach out and touch them if she wanted. Majestic dragons roamed this land freely and warrior princesses protected the innocent from evils wrath. In her world, it was always spring and the ponds were always filled with the brightest, most fragrant lilies. Now that she was all grown up, she knew that they were wrong. The world did have room for dreamers like her. It was dreamers who sowed the earth with their fertile imaginations on which future generations bloomed.

Roam freely in the castles of your mind, when you wear this elegant white kurta thats paired with peach-coloured bottoms. The kurta is made of handloom Jamdani cotton, while the bottoms are made of handloom cotton.

Jamdani is also referred to as extra-weft ornamentation, on-loom embroidery, or discontinuous weft. The patterns are developed on graph paper and fastened under the warp. A weaver then painstakingly works the on-loom embroidery using needles or extra weft shuttles, creating each motif individually. Jamdani fabrics feel delicate and opulent while also being light, comfortable and very fashion-forward.

Handloom cotton is handwoven by our weavers on mechanical looms. The process is time and labour-intensive, using techniques that have been passed down across generations of artisans. The resultant fabric is extraordinarily soft, breathable and resilient, and also drapes very well. Using handloom cotton not only helps us to work with smaller weavers but also plays an important role in reducing the environmental footprint of the garments we produce.
