The Pillar Vase was inspired by the flyover and metro rail pillars that have dominated Bangalore’s landscape since the late 90s. For our brutalist inspired concrete vase we miniaturised the functional and architectural features of the structures, including geometric ridges, before making silicone moulds and casting each vase in concrete.
