'Khetawas' jacket from Raw Mango SHER BAGH is a modern day re-interpretation of the traditional safari jacket. The deep brown jacket in twill canvas features hand-embroidered motifs of the majestic Asiatic Lion, Robust Indian one horned Rhino, Agile Chinkara, Nobel Asiatic Elephant, Evasive Bengal Tiger and the Shy Spotted Deer (Hiran) that co-exist within a jaal of leaves and foliage.
It is fastened with custom-made brass buttons with black enamel detailing and a silk inner lining that has a print of lush grasslands.
Natural variations in colours and weave are part of the textile, as it is handwoven.
