The Kyoto Set

The print draws from illustrated landscapes and symbolic flora, arranged with a sense of balance and intention that feels distinctly graphic rather than ornamental. TThe Silhouette  takes clear cues from Japanese dress traditions, where garments are built through layering, straight lines, and thoughtful proportion rather than overt shaping. The sleeveless top is cut with a clean, almost tunic-like simplicity, designed to sit away from the body and tie gently at the side—an echo of wrap construction and asymmetrical fastening found in traditional Japanese clothing.
