Story

Every year, she waited with bated breath for her ˜great escape. It was a word shed coined for her annual holiday to her grandparents home, in a tiny hamlet that was quite unlike anything she had ever seen, growing up in the city. For those few weeks, it felt as though time slowed down to a languid waltz and the world was born anew. While the rest of her family busied themselves with preparing for their Diwali celebrations, shed slip out into the woods behind their property, when no one was looking. Here, the grass grew wild, the land was free, and the air felt soothing against her warm skin. Shed draw up a small mound of grass as a makeshift pillow, to rest her head and watch the clouds float by the azure sky. Shed lie here, falling asleep in natures lap, until her siblings would be sent out to summon her, when the sun had begun its downward march. And, for her, those little jaunts were what made Diwali her most favourite time of the year.

Artificial silk is composed of any synthetic fibre, which mimics real silk in terms of its texture and appearance. It could be composed of bamboo viscose, or soybean fibres, or synthetic fibres such as nylon, polyester.
