This is a Fall/Winter 2025 item by Marina Yee, one of the legendary "Antwerp Six" graduates of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, a designer who continuously pursues the "deconstruction and reconstruction" of garments and a "timeless aesthetic." Her signature genderless and relaxed silhouette is maximally expressed in this piece. These denim trousers utilize denim, a traditional workwear material, but through an oversized cut characterized by a deep rise and an extremely wide, cropped length, they create a unique drape that appears to boldly deconstruct classic trousers. The deep blue hue, named "Dean Blue," is achieved through complex processing that suggests years of continuous wear, elevating the garment from mere casual wear into an art piece possessing a sculptural, formative beauty.
