Egon Schiele, the prolific Austrian painter, known for his unapologetic eroticism and intense, raw figurative art. A protege of Gustav Klimit, his earlier works show a striking similarity to those of his mentor. A brilliant artist, Egon died of the Spanish flu during the pandemic in 1918. Even though he died young, Egon's work laid the foundations of Austrian Expression and future Art Movements.
