Arranged like an oversized currency grid, the circular “1 RUPEE” discs turn into a theater of hands—gestures that suggest approval, accusation, bargaining, and game—each one stamped with the authority of value. The metallic greys read as industrial and impersonal, yet the sudden, tender red figure curled inside the central void punctures the system with vulnerability, as if the human body has been reduced to the smallest unit of exchange. Light slides across the embossed surfaces, making the hands appear to animate, while the empty ring at the center functions as both coin edge and aperture—an opening where the cost of consensus, compliance, and survival quietly accumulates.
