This work constructs a dreamlike township from sharpened planes and simplified facades, where rooftops rise like small sanctuaries against a sky pierced by a single, emphatic red sun. The palette—cool blues and greens bruised with embered reds—creates a tension between repose and urgency, as if memory’s calm is constantly interrupted by the pulse of lived experience. Thick outlines and layered textures compress depth into a staged tableau, suggesting community as both shelter and labyrinth, a place held together by rhythm, repetition, and quiet resilience.
