This work stages an intimate dialogue between two monumental, mask-like visages, their serenity suspended in a heat of vermilion and saffron that feels at once devotional and volatile. Planes of color stack like translucent veils, flattening space into a luminous tapestry where the raised hand becomes both a gesture of blessing and a quiet barrier, mediating proximity and distance. The dripping traces and fragmented blocks introduce a tremor of imperfection—suggesting memory, longing, or the slow erosion of certainty beneath composed expressions. In the surrounding floral silhouettes, tenderness persists as a symbolic counterpoint, hinting that connection is cultivated not through possession, but through attentive restraint.
