The work stages a radiant tree of life within a ceremonial mandala, where concentric, hand-patterned rings function like a protective threshold between inner vitality and the world beyond. A saturated field of crimson—at once womb-like and volcanic—supports the trunk’s cascading verticals, while the canopy’s clustered white blooms read as breath, memory, and renewal suspended above the heat. Scattered petals drift across the frame like quiet offerings, softening the geometry and suggesting that tenderness can survive even in the most intense emotional climates. The piece ultimately becomes a meditation on containment and overflow: discipline of pattern holding space for a pulse of living, fragile abundance.
