Dwarapalakas (Pair) - 02

This pair of wooden dwarapalakas is from Maharashtra or Gujarat. Dwarapalakas are door or gate guardians meant to protect the place. Each of them are seen holding the Vishnu symbols of the conch and the chakra (disc) in their upper hands, and a mace and baton in their lower hands.
