How Makeup Artists Apply It

For the sharpest finish, exfoliate your lips the night before and apply a thin layer of lip balm 5 minutes before. Blot off the balm, then apply the crayon starting at the cupid's bow and working outward. The defined tip gives you enough precision to skip the lip liner — but pairing it with a matching lip liner will make the colour last even longer and prevent any feathering at the edges.
