Story 

It had been many years since shed last celebrated Diwali with her family; but as the festive season drew near, she felt more homesick than ever before. One night, as she lay awake in bed, she decided to recreate some of that festive cheer in her own way. In the kitchen, she mixed a quick batter and added some ripe bananas to it, for good measure. Then, she scooped it out into piping hot oil to create gorgeous golden pancakes, just the way her nani made them. Blowing on the first one impatiently, she scarfed it down ignoring the fact that it singed her eager lips. As she had anticipated, the sticky sweetness instantly transported her back to her childhood, and the loving embrace of those she missed so dearly.
