How to Contour for Indian Features

Indian facial structures vary widely, but a few principles work universally. Apply contour shade just below your cheekbones (suck in your cheeks — apply where your face hollows), along the hairline at the temples, and down the sides of the nose if desired. The key is to blend upward and outward — never just downward, or it drags the face. Apply blush on the apples of the cheeks blending toward the temples, and then add highlighter to the tops of the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, and the cupid's bow.

Pro tip: Use a fluffy brush for contour and blush, and a fan brush for highlighter. Less is more — build gradually and step back every 30 seconds to check the overall effect.
