Meze - Alba

The Meze Alba offers an awesome, crystal-clear music experience. The ergonomics are excellent, making them very comfortable, and the overall design is simply beautiful. I am giving them a full 5-star rating because almost everything about them is exceptional. My only minor note is that the bass is a little on the lower side and not quite as punchy as I expected. Other than that, everything is awesome!

I know I've posted a review a couple of hours back that sounded more like I wasn't impressed much. I've been using it for the last three days and the review was after that. Surprisingly enough, I was listening to a couple of songs this eve and the experience now is entirely different. It sounded unlike anything the Alba I heard previously on.

The iems fit perfectly without straining the ears. Out of the box mids and highs are perfect and lack bass with the included dac. Throw away the included dac and use a dac with 2vrms output voltage. Bass is more than adequate even in sub sonic range. Coming from AirPods Pro 2, the mids and highs have day and night difference bass is more or less same using a hifi dac.

Worth the money. No attenuation. No compressed music

My first IEM experience, it’s a great start of the journey. Waiting for the sound to get better with time and using almost couple of hours each day since past 2 days. Sounds amazing nonetheless.

Initially I was skeptic of the sound as I felt high treble and lower mid bass, left if for burn in for 20 hours, chose the right size tip and I can hear sounds which I haven’t heard on the convenience based earphones air pod pro and Sony xm3 I had purchased earlier. Hands down beat many commercial earphones up to the category 20K. Good for rock n roll, live concert videos, orchestra, jazz may not be best for rap, house or trance. Vocal signature is brilliant, sound is natural and sound response
