In this work, two elongated arboreal forms rise like weathered sentinels, their pale trunks softly illuminated against a deep, scaled tapestry that reads as both foliage and memory. The composition hinges on a quiet verticality—stems stretching upward while the surrounding pattern closes in—creating a tension between growth and enclosure, breath and compression. Flecks of yellow and ember-red punctuate the cool blues and greens like sudden awakenings, suggesting persistence of life within shadowed complexity. The surface texture, layered and tactile, turns the forest into an inner landscape where resilience is felt as much as seen.
